Google Pixel 5a Still Released, But . . .

Google Pixel 5a Still Released, But –Rumors of the cancellation of the Pixel 5a have been heard since the beginning of this month, it occurred due to limited supply of chipsets or better known as the chip shortagephenomenon. However, based on the latest report submitted by 9to5Google,pixel 5a will still be released despite the ongoing shortage chip phenomenon!

If from the description of 9to5Google,Pixel 5a will later be renamed pixel 5a 5G (do not know if there is a variant of 4G also or indeed just a variant of 5G aja that will be sold by Google). But due to the phenomenon of chip shortage, sales of this device is believed to be very limited and the sales area has been confirmed by Google, namely only in Japan and the United States.

There is something interesting about this, where the longer sales of Google devices are increasingly shrinking in some markets only. Previously, when Google released the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5, both devices were marketed quite limited in some countries and in the Pixel 5a 5G series, sales of this phone were very very limited and only two countries could enjoy this device.

Despite the phenomenon of chip shortage, the market share of The Pixel is currently in freefall, the 2020 report states that the Pixel series lost market share by up to 50%. Perhaps this way (limited phone sales) is one of Google’s steps to reduce the number of losses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic that has been going on for more than a year.
